It was my birthday on friday, the eleventh, and I woke up at five thirty in the morning to make breakfast for the family. It was delicious and sweet cream of wheat and it wasn't nearly enough even though I was busting my gut. I'm so happy to be 18 now. So I go to school and only three people say "happy birthday" without being reminded. Right after the last bell rang, I got on the bus and rode an hour to our track meet at smith college. I was honestly surprised that the indoor track was WARM. Every sporting event that I've been to before has been air-conditioned and I hate that. I mean, I am a cold-wimp. I'm a super-floridian and I'm still not used to this damn snow. Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise to not have goosebumps. I hurdled number six out of thirty-sum runners. (we ran a few heats). I didn't have any money so I starved until my next race at the end of the meet. We ran the 4X4 relay. Four guys who just kinda went "eh. why not?" And then we blew by everyone. We almost lost though. If it weren't for Sparda pulling ahead, I never would have had that head start against that kid from athol high. But then again, he died halfway through and I almost died running and ran into a couple people at the finish line and pretty much collapsed on the ground. I seriously couldn't stand afterwards. I need to get in shape.
I then went to Allie's house and saw Marisa, I thought I was going to join in on their hanukkah festivities, but they threw a cake in my face and sang happy birthday in the weirdest way that was so allie-appropriate. Marisa wouldn't let me have her butterfinger icecream because it has "too much chocolate" in it. -_-
I'm not THAT allergic...
